WBPSC Food SI Exam Pattern 2023
To appear for the WBPSC Food SI examination the first step is to understand the Exam Pattern, the types of questions asked, and the marking scheme and plan your strategy for preparation according to the WBPSC Exam Pattern. We have discussed the WBPSC Food SI Exam Patter 2023 below-.
Stage I- This stage comprises a WBPSC Food SI written examination, here candidates will be tested on topics across general studies and arithmetic.
Stage II- This is the final stage in the selection process where candidates are interviewed by the panel formulated by the WBPSC on various aspects. A limited number of candidates selected merit-wise on the results of the written examination will be called to
appear at the personality test. The final list will be prepared considering the marks secured by them in both stages.
Mode of Exam- The WBPSC Food SI examination will be held through multiple choice objective (MCQ) type questions.
The exam will have 2 sections- General Studies (Matters of common experience including everyday science, current events, and problems with special reference to India, elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography) and Arithmetic (Questions will be set on the basis of the syllabus of Madhyamik Examination of the W.B.B.S.E. with mental ability)
This paper will be conducted for 100 marks.
Duration of Exam- 1.5 Hours (90 minutes).
Each question will be worth one mark and for each wrong answer, one-third of the mark will be deducted.
